Y’all. Thanksgiving is upon us! I can’t believe it’s here already…and that means ‘tis the season for holiday baking! This year, I wanted to try something different for dessert. Yes, we’ll still have pecan AND pumpkin pie for our after-feast treat…but I have found THE PERFECT recipe for another perfectly-pumpkin-palate-pleaser. (Say that 5 times fast.) 😉
Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake Dip
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
¾ c. pumpkin pie spice creamer
1 8oz. package of cream cheese, softened
¼ c. sugar
2 c. frozen whipped topping, thawed
Graham crackers (honey or cinnamon flavored—you choose!)
In a bowl, stir together the pudding mix and pumpkin pie spice. Add the creamer and whisk until blended. Set aside for about 5 minutes. In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the pudding to the cream cheese mixture and stir thoroughly. Fold in the in the thawed whipped topping and refrigerate. When you’re ready to serve it, fill a bowl with the dip and add your graham crackers—you can even crumble some of those crackers up and sprinkle on top!
This is the perfect recipe for a holiday meal or party—especially if you don’t have to time to bake something up…and I’m always thankful for anything that saves me some time and still tastes delicious!
